| | Plan Ahead(tm) | April 24, 2008 | A Breakthrough Test for Ovarian Reserve
Plan Ahead(tm) is a new blood test that provides an assessment of a woman's egg supply by combining multiple factors including the measurement of ovary-related hormones AMH, Inhibin B, and FSH with innovative and proprietary technology.
The window of opportunity for a woman to have children by natural conception is dependent upon an adequate supply of eggs which inevitably declines as a woman ages and her "biological clock ticks."
Plan Ahead(tm) enables a woman to compare her estimated egg supply with the normal range expected for women of the same age.
Plan Ahead(tm) is offered by Repromedix, a leading national laboratory specializing in advanced reproductive testing, and is currently available through Georgia Reproductive Specialists.
For more information and to order the Plan Ahead(tm) test, visit www.planaheadtest.com/us.

| | Non-Surgical Fibroid Treatment Information | December 03, 2007 | Attend an MRgFUS information session on non-surgical treatment of fibroids or watch a video online. If you do or know someone who does, then you also know that uterine fibroids can be painful and uncomfortable, cause cramping, abdominal pain, heavy menstrual bleeding, anemia, frequent urination, constipation, and distended stomachs. Fibroids distort the uterine cavity resulting in fertility problems.
Uterine fibroids are the most common benign (non-cancerous) tumors in women. Approximately 20-40 percent of women older than 35 have fibroids. Fibroids occur more frequently in African-American women. Fibroids account for many medical visits, tests, medications, and medical procedures. They are also a major reason for work absences and reduced quality of life.
Until now, most treatment options were invasive surgical procedures. Now, with MRgFUS, you have a noninvasive treatment alternative, which eliminates fibroid-related symptoms in an outpatient setting, without the need for incisions, anaesthesia, or hospitalization.
To find out more about MRgFUS treatmentand see if you are a candidate for this innovative procedure, speak with your GRS physician or visit Sightline Health online.
